My apologies, taking another look at John E. Fleming's record for Company I, 59th Alabama Infantry which was organized in Butler County, Alabama......what I thought was Greenville, Fla., could also be and probably is Greenville, Ala.

That makes more sense because Greeville, Ala., is in Butler County. So, this particular John E. Flemming was most likely from Butler County, Ala., and with his late enlistment date, was probably young in 1860....15 or so.
