Allen, In those ten pages you speak of, It makes a major point as to why the second part of the title of Oates' book is what it is, (AND ITS LOST OPPORTUNITIES). If the right person were to read this book, Colonel William Calvin Oates of the 15th Alabama Infantry would have to be the subject of a movie. A most interesting and unusual man, and what a book!
