Allen as much as you have helped me in the past I want to help with your projects." Confederates who died in the Civil War"
You have a Col. Edward Goodwin, you don't have a place of death. Col. Edward Goodwin was born in Aberdeen Ms. came to
School at LaGrange College Franklin Co. Alabama, later became a Prof. at LaGrange , married a Celia King of Franklin Co. Alabama,
when the war broke out he helped form the 35th from cadets at LaGrange College. I don't know the details but Col. Goodwin was
at a Court Martial In Columbus Ms. at the time of his death. His body was buried in Aberdeen Ms. in family plot, wife Celia King Goodwin/'
had his body moved to the King Cemetery now Colbert Co. Alabama in 1866.
I have spent the last 3 yrs. digging up info on all Confederates buried in Colbert Co. Alabama, I will go back through my note and pull
the boys who were killed or died in action for you.
Thanks again for what you do.
