Some how I missed your message when you replied to the thread. James Ellison Warren is buried in the Big Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Thomas County, Georgia. The VA marker that was placed on his grave has him listed in Co A, 115th Regiment Alabama Infantry. I assume from your post that he was in Co A, 45th Regiment Alabama Infantry and that he was a Lt. Is this correct and if so, why was the mistake made on the marker?
