Ok, so it's an 'in-law' relationship. Hard to think of Hardin as an "in law" but guess he was for a few moments in his life. His wife, Jane Bowen Hardin is the one related to the Barrows. The Hardin's were living with her kinfolk up in the north end of the county around Flomaton, Jay and Century.

Here's a link I found that using the Index links the names Barrow, Bowen and Hardin. But Hardin was not 'blood kin'.
