L.Q.C. de Yampert is my 3rd. great grandfather.I am from the line that came from his 2nd. marriage to Parthenia Webb.i have some pictures of him and on of Parthenia on my ancestry,com family tree. I am a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, upon his record. he gave aid to thecause and even had a regiment of soldiers named the De yampert's warriors after him. Julia Evelyn MArie de Yampert Hinds was my mother;s mom. Her parents were Judson King de Yampert and Anna Beatrice CroweI HAVE PHOTOS OF MY MOTHER OF COURSE, AND HER MOTHER, AS WELL AS Anna Beatrice Crowe de Yampert, that i would be glad to share with you.
The E. de Yampert, whom the gentlman found in his research, was Epaminondas de Yampert, who was L.Q.C.de Yampert and his 1st wife anAnn verton Wingfield. He was at the Baattle of Missionary Ridge in Tn. and he was captured and sent to Rock Island Prison,a Union hellhole.
