L.Q.C. de Yampert is my 3rd. great grandfather.I am from the line that came from his 2nd. marriage to Parthenia Webb.i have some pictures of him and on of Parthenia on my ancestry,com family tree. I am a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, upon his record. he gave aid to thecause and even had a regiment of soldiers named the De yampert's warriors after him. The E. de Yampert, whom the gentlman found in his research, was Epaminondas de Yampert, who was L.Q.C.de Yampert and his 1st wife anAnn verton Wingfield. He was at the Baattle of Missionary Ridge in Tn. and he was captured and sent to Rock Island Prison,a Union hellhole.
