Linda's location for the camp location on Spring Hill Road would be accurate. At that point it would be near water, transportation by rail and/or water and a city to be defended if attacked. Except for the railroad station at Pollard, it's difficult to imagine those conditions applying to Conecuh County. Perhaps the encampment at Pollard shared the same name as the one on Spring Hill Road.
