Hello all,
Several ships were built for the Confederate Navy right here in Montgomery. Two or three that fought in the Battle of Mobile Bay were built right there on teh river at that little creek that comes out beside the amphitheater in downtown Montgomery. Does anyone have any info on this, history, pics, etc.. of any of that operation in the war.
