You mentioned that Celia Blake was married first to Henry Howle who died in Virginia during the War. That is correct. Henry Howle was my great-great uncle, a brother of my great grandfather Mack Goode Howle. Five Howle brothers served in the Confederate Army. Three survived. They did not live in Benton/Calhoun/Cleburne. They lived in northern Randolph County which became Cleburne in Dec 1866 when Cleburne was created. After the War, Celia married second to a Hilton and later lived in Oxford.
