His full name is William (Bill) W. Taylor. When I did some research, I ran into the same thing, couldn't find him. Also, he was born abt 1812-17, depending on the census information you want to beleive, which would make him in his late 40's, early 50's. I do have a copy of the Pensioners Request I can forward if that would help. And no, I have nothing else solid to go on except the usual family lore. I would think that when his wife filed for his pension that there would be a track / method for it to have been approved (it was approved) that we could go back and follow...oh well! Thank you for your help!
