Are you close enough to visit the Conecuh County Probate office and search the deed books. There should be a direct record and an indirect record. One will record the owner in a land sale, the other will record the buyer. Another record will be the Tract Books, the record of the sales of public lands or that bought through the various land offices in Alabama. At the time you mention, it will probably be Cahaba Land Office. The record will give an exact description of the land. With that information, I'll be happy to scan the page from a plat book of Conecuh Co. that will offer directions and names of the current owners.
