I have one man's records showing he was a member of McDonald's Cavalry but there is no muster roll, only his pow record and parole. There was a Capt John T McDonald who was with a "supporting force" in the 6th Congressional District. Again, the only cards in his file is his pow record and parole.
On the ADAH site, the only person named McDonald that I could find who could have been my man was the one in Coosa Co. I may be totally wrong on that.
