Thank you for the reply. I have Cicero enlisted July 17, 1861 Arkadelphia. Do you think this could have been Arkadelpha AL instead of Arkadelphia AR even though he served in the 6th Ark. Inf. Co. D? His records I got from Footnote list him on a muster role for April 30 to June 30, 1862 by Col Garett and it also lists sick at Macon. I have a couple of subsequent records him still being sick. What is interesting on the Co. Muster Roll Sep-Oct 1862 it lists enlisted June 30, 1862 for 1 year and he is then sick at hospital. The last record I have is that he died Aug. 4. 1862 in Gen Hos Macon, MS. These dates do not mesh with each other....how come? This is really confusing to me. Where do I go from here?
