I know this as the Tennessee & Cossa RR. It was designed to connect the Alabama & Tennessee River RR at Gadsden to Gunter' Landing and the Winchester & Alabama RR. In the spring of 1860, 27 miles had been graded and 350 hands were at work on the road.
