My great grandfather was William Willis Bobo. I have original papers where his second wife applied and received widow's penison because of the Flordia wars William Willis took part in. The second wife, my great grand mother was Elizabeth Chandler Bobo, and she is the one who received the widow's penison until her death. She is buried in Milford TX where I have been and did see the headstone to confirm. My Bobo grand parents were James Early Bobo and Nancy Odessa Ivey Bobo. Elizabeth Bobo appilied for widow's pension but was turned down because William Willis was a confederate soldier but was did qualify for widow's penison because of William Willis' serving in the Florida Indian wars. I have an old tin type picture of someone in a uniform my Mother said it was Tinsley Bobo but I really don't know if that is true or not. Really don't know much more. Janis Beeler
