Initial officers were Capt Archer Griffith, 1st Lieut John D Parker and 2nd Lieut William A Willis of Barbour County, plus 2nd Lieut Francis Marion Averett of Dale County. The company organized at Savannah Ga on Oct 9, 1861, for twelve months service. All four officers were dropped from the rolls at reorganization, May 16, 1862.
