Thanks, Alan. You've confirmed what I was thinking as well. I have the records for the man in the 31/49 Infantry as that just seemed to fit. I also see Morgan County connected to both the 12th and 31/49 and my Joel Coffee lived in Morgan County. I appreciate the help! Allen
