Re: Moses Copeland 3rd AL Cav Co I

Alan, from what i read yesterday, who knows maybe its wrong, but company I alabama 3rd cav was raised in dallas, an wilcox county. I do see copelands in this area today. Maybe ol moses was burried elsewhere, not mobile county. do u see the age of the younger moses on his service record? his grave is in kentucky. some of the copelands had went to the mobile county courthouse an looked into this several years ago, an came to the conclusion it was a different moses, but never seemed to make the conclusion, that they may have been brothers. Thomas Coleman Copeland
1821 – 1878 is passed down as the son of moses. what is the earliest census? is there one done around 1820? Do you see any other places for the elder moses besides washington an mobile counties? do u see an listing of him in his younger days? In other words where did they come from to get to springbank? You have been a great help to me on my ancestors allen, just wanted to take the time to tell you i appreciate it. Are you related to the copelands as well?
