Alabama soldier

Greetings from Arkansas.

I found a POW record of an Alabama soldier which had been misfiled with the Compiled Service Record of a similarly-named Arkansas soldier. The man's name is William F. Hodges, a private in Co. E, 1st Confederate Cavalry. He was captured in Jackson County, Alabama, on January 25, 1865; received at Military Prison, Louisville, Kentucky, on January 29, 1865; received at Camp Chase, Columbus, Ohio, on February 3, 1865; and released on taking the oath of allegiance on June 13, 1865. Remarks: age 19, eyes blue, hair dark, complexion florid, height 5'7", residence Marshall County, Alabama.

Maybe this will help someone's research.
