According to an obit I have for him - they had eleven children one of which married one of my ancestors Asa Tanner Horton.
I have not been able to identify any of her information other than her (Sarah Jane Day) marriage to Asa and her parents information. She is not listed as one of the children -- in fact I have found only 4 of the children:

b. October 12, 1820
2. James Day
b. 1823 - North Carolina
3. Francis Marion Day
b. 1825 - North Carolina
4. Robert C "Woody" Day
b. November 27, 1829 or 1829 in Lawrence County, IN
5. I have found the birth date for Sarah Jane Day - but can not connect to Archibald's family - other than through the marriage information.
b. June 13, 1837
So there are at least 6 other children not accounted for.
Archibald's father is Francis Day - b 1760 Caswell Co. Mother - Jane Farmer Day
d February 20, 1816 Person County, NC b. 1766 Pennsylvania d. 1851 Person County, NC
Their children: Archibald, Nathanial - 1806 NC; Samuel - 1808 NC; Mary 1788 NC; Bethlehm 1791 NC; Cassandra June 15, 1793 NC; Isaac - 1805 NC;
William 1802 NC and John 1804 NC
Francis' father is John Day - b about 1725 Virginia married February 21, 1748 to Bethlehem Bowling no date info
Their children: John 1749 VA; William 1756 NC; Francis; Henry 1761; Philip April 6, 1762 Caswell County, NC; Isaac about 1766 NC
