Both John Orr Sheets and Wesley L Stover responded to the 1907 census as residents of Hillsboro and Danville, Lawrence County AL. Sheets claimed service under Lt. Col. Wines and Capt Warren, 4th Alabama Cavalry; Stover claimed service with the 5th Alabama Cavalry.
