married Margaret Louise Mayhall b/ 1836 Alabama, Kept the south side of the O'neal bridge crossing the Tn. river at Sheffield
(South Florence ) for Southern Rail Road after the war. Aft. 1880 he moved to Bessemer and became a Jefferson County
Comminisoner, he died one Sunday morning on his way to church on horseback it appears he had a stroke, dead when he
hit the ground. I am assumming he is buried at Elmwood Cem, this will be my first hit because he has a son buried there.
