Not that I know of. I have contacted everybody that might know something about the history of Perry County people and I can't get any info on him. Only thing I have form him is service records and a copy of his marriage license to the sister the famed author Augusta Evans Wilson. The house still stands where they were married. It is a private residence. August mentions him in her correspondence some.

the footnotes say that Jones married her sister after the war. It was actually during the war.

Also suppose to be an article written by him about the battle of Manassas while he was a member of the 4th Alabama. Saw it on an auction site but can't find any archived newspapers with it in there.
