July 4, 1863, paroled July 9, elected Jr. 2nd Lieutenant November 9, 1863, captured at Bentonville, N. C. March 19, 1865, arrived Point Lookout, Md. prison camp April 3, transferred to Washington, D. C. April same day, forwarded to Depot Prisoners of War, near Sandusky, Ohio April 4, released on taking the Oath June 17, 1865 at Johnson's Island, Ohio, description: resident of Lexington, Ala., age 32, complexion, dark hair, hazel dyes, 5' 9"
