Try finding a source for Art Green's book entitled "Boots and Saddles". Art has ties to Monroe County which may give him some insight into Co. C. I believe this to be N.R. Leigh's company, perhaps after Capt. Amos of Santa Rosa County commanded the unit but don't told me to that. Are you Wilma Johnson of Carnley kin?
