I think I was somewhat confused I think Enoch Vandiver fought somewhere along side her I am still reading an researching, my roots go all the way back to William Vandiver, VanDerVeer was the name before they moved here from the Netherlands (Dutch) with Lords, counts and Queens, and I believe Vandiver wrote books on the wars he was also a relative, I was adopted and am just now looking at my family roots. I find all of this very interesting because for one Alot of my real family has no idea I exist I just now have gotten a copy of my original birth certificate and am just do interested in my family name. MANY Vandivers fought in several of the wars which I am a direct decendant, so does anyway know anything about how this connects me to the confederacy?
