There are only two cards in his file with the 33rd, do not know if the Shoemaker is the same man.

August 27, 1862 by Surgeon, detailed December 3, 1862 at C. S. Shoe Shop, Columbus, Ga., 29 years, physically disabled, recorded employed by Major F. W. Dillard, Q. M. at Columbus, Ga. April 2, 1864, Rheumatism, employed as Shoe Maker, August 20, 1864 and in January, 1865, no other records
