I am researching a William Atkinson who died in Oct of 1854 at Fort Morgan, ALA.
He was a Confederate soldier from GA.
I know there was a hospital there, used by both Confederate and Federal troops, but I have not been able to find records to prove that he died there.
Any help would be appreciated.
