The National Archives, in Washington, DC. in Record Group 109 include a Fort Morgan Hospital, register of patients, Feb. 3, 1863 - Aug. 21, 1864 (ch. VI, vol. 3), and a miscellaneous record book, 1862-64 (ch. VI, vol. 5) containing rolls of hospital personnel.

They also have a resgister of patients, Engineer Hospital (Mobile) Jan. 23, 1864-Apr, 25, 1865 (ch. III, vol.20) including slaves and Federal Negro prisoners. and,

for Ross General Hospital (Mobile), a register of patients, Sept. 1, 1863-Apr. 12, 1865 (ch. V, vol. 2)

The Confederacy, A Guide to the Archives of the Government of the Confederate States of America, Henry Putney Beers, National Archives and Records Administration, Washington, DC

Records of the Great/Grand Hotel Hospital, Point Clear, Mobile Bay were lost when the hotel was destroyed by fire.
