19th Alabama Color Bearer

I am trying to identify a member of the 19th Alabama. The Federals were so impressed with the valor of a color bearer, they erected a monument to him. Here's a quote from The Confederate Veterans magazine, Volume 22 (Page 306): "Here lies a hero, the color bearer of the 19th Alabama Regiment who planted his colors within this entrenchment." I can't be certain of the particular engagement.

In the 29 Apr 1926 issue of The Southern Democrat, an Oneonta, Blount County newspaper, Manoah V. Vaughn (Jefferson County treasurer) was quoted as saying, "Prof. Henry also told of the Federal Army erecting a monument of a brave Blount County boy by the name of King who carried the flag of the 19th Alabama and placed it upon the breastworks of the enemy in face of certain death. He did this, Prof. Henry said, after the flag had been shot down several times."

Can someone help me identify this color bearer surnamed King? During which battle?
