I have not been on this site for a long time; however, I seem to remember that I read here at one time that the men Col. O'Neal sent over to assist Old Alleghany Johnson assault Culp's Hill early on July 3 , never actually participated in the assault. Can some verify that with a referfence for me ? Thanks
