I read through a small handful of letters that my father had. These were brief, mostly recounting the trials of marching with a wounded foot in a bloody shoe and the devotion of the troops in general. I don't recall names of specific people being mentioned. However, I should use the occasion to renew contact with my cousin who, as I mentioned, has those few letters. If at all possible I'll get complete copies and would be happy to share them with you.
