I am also researching the Mobile Rifles. One of my relatives Frank C. Gage (d. 22 Jan 1889) was at one time right guide in the mobile rifles. He was the son of Charles P. Gage who commanded Gage's Battalion (fought at Shiloh then was stationed in defense of Mobile).
