Oh yes, another issue. The date of P.F. Crenshaw's birth is in question. According to his gravestone, date of birth was November, 1847. When his death was reported, date of birth was given as March, 1848. Since we don't know when he enlisted, would boys as young as 13 or 14 have been taken in?

According to his gravestone, he was a member of the 11th Ala. Cav. According to Al Archives, 11th Roddy's. But, I haven't found him in either one.
