I found out yesterday from a cousin that my great grandfather was John Lindsley Hubbard, and mustered with the 48th Alabama, fought with them all the way through the war, and 'stacked arms' at Appomatox CH, according to a letter he sent in1921 to my grandfather in Weaver Alabama. Would LOVE to have at least one copy of this book.
