I am search for infomration regarding an Arkansas Artillery Battery at the Battle of Spanish Fort. The Monticello Artillery was a Confederate Army battery also known as: Owen's Battery, or Howell’s Battery. Some post war records refer to the unit as the Drew Light Artillery because most orgional members were from Drew County, Arkansas. Very few references in the OR. Would love to know more about what guns that manned during the Siege. Thanks!
