The 30th Alabama Infantry flag from Vicksburg is a First National flag, as Alan points out. In September 2011, the Alabama Division United Daughters of the Confederacy donated $17,888.00 to the Alabama Department of Archives and History to fund conservation of this flag of the 30th. Conservation has been completed this month.
