Ok,
Thats not him. when i looked at the enumeration census for perry county of Confederate vets, and other records in the perry county CSA soldier section of the MS archives on family search center, i note the AG Brown 24th MS INF and right beside him is a Thomas Brown who served in the 8th MS INf. I believe Mr Brown has the right soldier, a George Brown from Greene County MS, who served in the ALA Infantry, he just cant find his grave, but looks like our Thomas Brown was in Perry county not Greene, and I wonder if the Thomas Brown is in fact the Brother or Kin to the AG Brown burried in Perry County MR Brown.

The simple fact is we may never find the grave of George Brown, being you believe he was burried where he died in Battle. But i question that he was captured and let out of the ALA infantry to join the Cavalry. The problem with the 32 and 36 ALA is we cant hardly find a damn thing on these 2 units, we have a slew of 36th AL burried here, in Greene County that no records can be found.

When we start searching for the Greene County MS soldiers who died in battle and did not make it home, i will again look into this, but i still have numerous soldiers that are burried here that we are searching for the records, and many graves that are supposed to be here, that we have yet to find.
