Noah V Reeves (also shown as Noah V Reeve and N V Reeve) enlisted 18 Feb, 1862, at Jasper. A notation on the regimental return for Oct. 1862, indicates he was "left at hospital in Tenn." He may have still been in the hospital either as a patient or as a nurse when the Battle of Murfreesboro took place. At any rate, he was captured 5 Jan. 1863. He was sent, as a nurse, on 22 Apr. 1863, from Confederate Hospital #2 in Murfreesboro, to Nashville, subsequently to Lousiville, then on to Ft. McHenry, Baltimore, where he was paroled 10 May, 1863, and sent to City Point for exchange. Don't see anything on him after that. His records may be ordered here:
