How does one post a pic on this site? I have just been sent a scan of an ancestor in a civil war uniform (yeah I know you've heard that at least once or twice- ha!) Anyway it is most likely one of two people either RTM Simmons 2nd Lieutenant of the 40th AL inf. or Cyrus M Rape private in the 36th MS infantry. With a VERY slight possibility of being Wesley Graham also supposedly of the 36th which isn't proven but was found on the MS confederate graves index (which I've lost the website of in a computer crash if anyone can post that back over). I was hoping somone could tell me if there is anything visible and tell tale about his uniform that might narrow it between the two former.
