In 2005 there was two posts inquiring about William H. Evington from the state of Missouri who fought in the Civil War and chose to stay in Alabama after the War. One was the great granddaughter of William and she was wanting to know something of his life before he settled in Alabama. William Evington was the brother of my great great grandfather Charles Evington. I believe I might be able to give Caroline Cline some information.
