I believe that my guy is the one from Guntersville, Alabama 9th Co K.
But up until now I had also believed that the William L (married to Drucilla) in Winston 1860 census was him as well.

The only thing I know for certain is that my great grandfather William Lou Allen Harbin was born in Alabama to Samantha D. and Lou Harbin (at least that is what William Lou Allen's death certificate states...Samantha D. is for certain). He came to Arkansas and then to Johnson County Tx in 1880. The Winston 1860 federal census with William L and Drucilla (whom I had assumed was Samantha...middle initial D.) has a male child "Loolia". This Loolia I believed to be my great grandfather with a horrible understanding of his name...probably Lou Allen to differentiate him from his father, William Lou, in a thick accent.

Anyway. I appreciate your attention to this. This is my namesake and very dear to me. Not to mention (did I mention?!) an eternal headache!
