Yes. Hardy enlisted at Lochapoka, May 16, 1862, in Capt. Ferguson's company (Later Co. H, 47th Ala.). Records show that he was admitted to the C.S.A. General Hospital in Charlottesville, VA, on July 21, 1862, and died there of typhoid fever on Aug. 11, 1862.
