M S. Sellers

Residence Pike County AL; 30 years old.
Enlisted on 3/1/1862 at Pike County, AL as a Private.
On 3/1/1862 he mustered into "F" Co. AL 15th Infantry
He died of disease on 5/11/1862

M. S. Sellers, Private, Company F, 15th Regiment Alabama Infantry, admitted General Hospital, Charlottesville, Va. April 18, 1862, Pneumonia Act., died May 13, 1862 Pneumonia fol [sic] Rubeola, Attorney Bird Fitzpatrick filed claim for the settlement of his account August 13, 1862, no further records

Note, there are no Company F Muster Rolls in the records prior to the May/June, 1863 muster, hence we cannot ascertain his service history

Compiled Service Records of Confederate Soldiers Who Served in Organizations from the State of Alabama

Record Group 109, National Archives, for the General Hospital (Charlottesville) hold a register of patients, July 22, 1861 - August 2, 1865 (ch. VI, vols. 214 and 215), with an alphabetical name index (ch. VI, vol. 216).
Duke University Library also holds a record of patients for the period Jan. 1862 - May 20, 1865

Note, these documents are difficult to review and usually contain little more data than admittance, discharge, etc and sometimes, aliment.
