I'm very much enjoying your write-ups on the 5th AL, especially as regards early 1864 and after when my GGG grandfather Wilson William Kirkland joined Battle's Brigade along with the 61st AL. The 61st was previously brigaded under Gen. Gordon and before that Gen. Lawton. Please keep up the good work!
