Hi folks: I just wanted to add that my 3rd great uncles, (Green Prince, William Prince, and John Prince) were members of the 6th Alabama Co D. My second great grandfather, Ira H. Prince, was residing in Jackson county, Alabama in 1860. He and his family resided a few houses away from John B. Gordon. Interestingly, Ira H. Prince did not enlist with the Raccoon Roughs. For a reason as yet unknown to me, he is found in the Georgia 34th Inf. Regt. Co H. Paroled at Vicksburg, I find not later record of war service, so it appears he returned to his wife and children. Ira Prince
