Company, Alabama Volunteers at Camp of Instruction, La Grange, Alabama, March 31, 1862, receipted for four months pay for the period Oct. 1, 1862 to Feb. 1, 1863, $44, May 27, 1863, signing with an ‘X’, “his mark,” no further records

Note, his file contains a Statement which records he was docked some amount for a loss of equipage during the 1st & 2nd quarters ending June 30, 1864. Document to faint to obtain further details
