Does anyone have any information about this group? All I can find about my relative Henry Perry is that he was 54th regiment AL infantry company A, formerly company H TN infantry. What does this mean? Is he originally from Alabama or Tennessee? I know he was in TN at some point and my family has stayed within that area, but did he move to TN from AL after the war? I'm confused. Any help is appreciated.
