Miles in your note a couple of years ago you noted that my grandfather was discharged from Howard Grove hospital and returned to duty, I believe it was July 6th. I am trying to figure out if he would have actually been with his regiment as it was at that time in Maryland. I am trying to assess the likelihood he was at Monocacy and Ft Stevens. Just trying to figure out the common use of the term... Thanks, Chuck
