I’m looking for any information on Henry J. Carter, a Private in the 3rd Alabama Cavalry. He was married to Abbie Carter and I believed they lived in Crawfordville, Mississippi. He had been with the 1st Mississippi Cavalry before the formation of the 3rd Alabama. I think he was in Frank Y. Gaines’ company. Birth and death dates, and any service record would be great!
